Our Mission

To promote educational welfare of the students and to bring into closer relation both parents and teachers so that they may cooperate intelligently in the education of our children.

Annual areas of focus and funding decisions are made collaboratively with the administration, teachers and the PTSO and are the result of an ongoing, reasoned discussion about the school’s needs and the associated costs and maintenance obligations.

Iredell County ranks 110 out of 115 counties in North Carolina in per pupil funding and North Carolina ranks 43rd in the nation!  The state funds received by Brawley Middle School are at a much lower level than most other schools in the state due to a lower percentage of free and reduced lunch enrollment.  In order to allow our children to learn and compete on an even playing field with children in other areas, we need to fund the necessary professional development, resources, and technology through funds raised from our Fall Fund Drive/Capital Needs Campaign.
